FYI: Advance Schools had a medical emergency this morning. The student involved is being taken care of. Their parent was contacted and has come to the school. If you were not contacted your child was not involved. This only affected one child. We ask that you do not call the school to ask what happened. That is personal information and we will not give it out. Just know that the student involved is being taken care of. Thank you for understanding. And please keep the student and their family in your prayers.

The Advance Hornets Hall Of Fame Ceremony will take place January 6, 2023. The ceremony will take place during the boys basketball game that evening. Games start at 6:00 pm. Due to Covid, the Hall Of Fame has not held a ceremony the past couple of years. Therefore, this year’s ceremony will be honoring the 2021 and 2022 inductees. Those being honored are Nikki Morgan Cary, Brenda Taylor Yeager, Mrs. Luka Duckett, Kenny Grindstaff, Ray Estes, Don Berry, and Trenton Moses.
The 1956-57 varsity basketball and the 1960-61 varsity basketball teams will also be honored.
The 2018-19, 2019-20, and the 2020-21 varsity state champ volleyball teams were also inducted. However, due to scheduling conflicts, these teams will be honored at a later date. Hopefully at a volleyball game in the fall.
Please spread the word. We would like to have as many of the team members attend as possible.
If you have any questions, contact Mr. Garner at the school.
